Taking Care

Departure is 3 weeks from today!

Preparing yourself for travel:
1) Drink more water a couple days before we depart. It's easy to get dehydrated while traveling - but especially since we are headed for much warmer climate. To avoid headaches and heat exhaustion - drink water! Plan to buy a big bottle of water at the airport (after we go through security) and then each day, make sure to get a big bottle of water for the day.

2) Pump up the vitamins intake - in particular, Vitamins C & B complex. It's important to keep up your immune system and energy levels so you feel good each day. Start increasing your vitamin C intake a few days before departure so you are prepared to inhale airplane air! :)

3) Bugs and Hand Sanitizer. Hand wipes or 3 oz liquid hand sanitizer is always good to have when traveling. Also, get a Deet roll-on stick, anti-mosquito bracelets and/or anti-mosquito wipes for daily use. Lemon grass oil is a nice natural alternative that repels mosquitos and (supposedly) has anti-bacterial/microbial properties too that can aid in warding off malaria or food poisoning.

Take care of you so you can make the most of this travel experience!
