Day 5 / Seafood & Ocean Kayaking

Maybe "seafood" is misleading, but Alonso took just the kids (w/ Sra. Morgan and myself) to a local, beachfront seafood restaurant. There were 9 hamburgers ordered out of 13! But at the adult table, we had fresh fish and this dish here called "mariscada" which is a flight of seafood in a casserole dish!

Oh, well, we tried...
Next stop - Ocean Kayaking! We had a very nice leisurely jaunt back to our hotel. It took us about 40 mins and our guides were great! Many were a bit scared (as in more afraid than ziplining - ??) However, they all did a great job!

After a great day filled with beach activity, we went out to the next town over (Jaco) for dinner and a little surprise for us from Alonso! This surprise is something I've wanted to do for 10 years now - since I first heard about it! More on that later....
